Updating the Tebi App
It’s very important to keep the Tebi App updated to the latest version so that you get new features and bug fixes. At the moment, a new version of the app is available approximately every two weeks. There is a change log available for each new release.
The app will not work correctly if your app is more than two versions old.
The best way to stay up to date is with auto-updates. You can check these are enabled here:
- Go to the Play Store
- Tap your profile in the top right corner
- Go to Settings in the Play Store menu
- Open the Network preferences menu and select Auto-update apps
- Make sure you have selected Over any network or Over Wi-Fi only
Update the Tebi App in the Google Play Store
When a new version of the Tebi App is available, you can manually update the app by taking these steps:
Open the Google Play Store
Tap your profile in the top right corner
Select Manage apps and devices
Tap Updates available
Find the Tebi App and press Update
Updating the app can take several minutes, so it is best to do this during a quiet period.
Update a Tebi App on the payment terminal
Terminals auto-update by default if switched on and connected to the network. If you wish to see if a new update is available on the terminal, tap on Settings > Configuration. There input the Admin code to see if the app is up-to-date.
